The design of the development program should be able to integrate a range of developmental experiences over a set period of time. This can be achieved by experiencing classroom style programs, business school style coursework, executive coaching, reflective journaling, mentoring and more. The design should also set goals that will be followed by the evaluation of key developmental needs. After a given time period, the achievement should be assessed and evaluated.</p>
<p>Apart from considering the design, there are also factors to consider in leadership development. The reason <strong>why leadership development efforts fail</strong> is because they fail to consider these key concepts that are very vital to effective leadership development. First and foremost, experiential learning takes a good part in the learning process. It puts the individual into actual position and at the very focus of the learning process. <h2 style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #214c71;">Overcoming fear of English language</span></h2>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Until I complete my graduation, I have studied in my <a href="http://praveenben.com/95/leadership-development/philosophy-of-religion"><strong>regional</strong></a> language i.e. my mother tongue. As I was a product of Rural India the subject of English appeared Greek and Latin. After education, I was forced to appear for competitive examinations to get my employment. Getting the job is a compulsion for me to look after my dependents. Thus I have no choice but to face the battle with English medium. I was mentally prepared and determined to appear for the examinations. I read English news papers, watched the English news in television.</p>
<p>On the day of examination, somehow I marshaled my energies and proceeded with <a href="http://praveenben.com/140/health-and-wellness/human-body-systems"><strong>heavy heart</strong></a> and abnormal pulse rate.I did not know how I finished the examination. With that experience, I started appearing for all the competitive examinations in English medium. The fear of “English Language” was considerably reduced if not eliminated altogether.</p>
<h2 style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #214c71;">Overcoming fear of facing conferences</span></h2>
<p>After appearing for many examinations, finally I became a &#8220;Tax Man&#8221; highest civil service in the State Administration.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Now as administrator, I need to attend conferences called by my boss. Facing the Boss appeared to be stressful for me. That was the first conference. My body chemistry had been changing; it was getting ready by sensing perceived threat. I entered into the conference hall with <a href="http://praveenben.com/155/health-and-wellness/stress-relief"><strong>stressful mind</strong></a>. Conference was completed and stressful chemicals withdrew from my body. I attended conferences regularly and got adjusted to the change.</p>
<h2 style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #214c71;">Overcoming fear of public speaking</span></h2>
<p>In those days&#8217; Government of Andhra Pradesh contemplated the introduction of Value Added Tax system in the State of Andhra Pradesh. My boss appointed me as one of the resources persons to conduct training classes for the departmental personnel and trade unions. My fearful mind was not ready for facing that situation. Ihad no experience of standing on the stage and giving lectures. Almost three days I was sleepless. However, I had no option but live up to the expectation of my boss. Although my mind was not comfortable with this thought, I prepared day and night.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The day has come on which I had to conduct the class by myself. I had proceeded to the stage with bated breathe and started my lecture. One hour completed. I did not know how I completed my class. Thereafter I lead series of seminars, workshops. The new assignment which caused a lot of pain in my <a href="http://praveenben.com/140/health-and-wellness/human-body-systems"><strong>heart initially</strong></a> turned into a pleasurable exercise. In fact, I enjoyed each minute of  it.</p>
<h2 style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #214c71;">Principle I followed for overcoming fear</span></h2>
<p>If, I deeply dwell on all the events of my life, I realized that <strong>I overcome my fear by attempting the same thing which I am fearful about most.</strong>. My intense passion and compulsions forced me to face the fears. <strong>The simple principle for overcoming fear</strong> and building self confidence is thus an intense passion plus attempting the same thing that you fear.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">If you have fear or doubt about anything in your life, attempt or venture the same activity that you fear. Over a period of time any activity becomes effort less habit. <a href="http://praveenben.com/70/personal-development-articles/overcoming-fear"><strong>This simple principle can alone remove your fear and doubt</strong></a>. Not attempting or running away on the feeling of fear or doubt will get you nowhere. You remain fearful and frustrated all your life. You miss a lot of opportunities and enjoyment. <strong>This is the only proven principle for overcoming fear and building self confidence.</strong></p>

Maternal instincts generate enormous strength and determination that drive the fear away from them. Courageousness and determination that generate at the time of maternity are in born. These characters generate within themselves and not come from elsewhere. <strong>Women empowerment becomes reality by nurturing their innate qualities of <a href="http://praveenben.com/118/enterpreneurship/social-entrepreneurship">entrepreneurship</a>.</strong> <strong> </strong></p>
<h2 style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #214c71;">Women are naturally endowed with the qualities of entrepreneurship</span></h2>
<p>My second sister got married, and we are quite happy for she was blessed with good husband and in-laws. However, our happiness short lived as she had miscarriages. Every <strong>couple dream of children</strong> in their initial days of marital life, elders also eagerly await the grandchildren. Their happiness gets delayed for months and years, and they could not conquer the <a href="http://praveenben.com/158/health-and-wellness/anxiety-panic-attack"><strong>Frustration and anxiety</strong></a>. The problem diagnosed was the <strong>incompetent cervix</strong>. We feared a lot when she got Pregnancy again. We approached the Senior Gynecologist who assured that the problem could be resolved by stitching up the cervix. With this advice hope was regenerated. After three months doctor stitched up the cervix and advised complete bed rest under her supervision in the hospital.</p>
<p>From that time onwards <strong>she was on bed for more than 5 months. She has undergone trauma of immovable life. </strong>We are very anxious. However, she displayed a lot of Patience and courage. At last there was a sign of relief among all the members of the family, as she gave birth to a baby girl “bless y”. The way my sister demonstrated her patience and maturity surprised us. I realized that women are naturally blessed with the qualities of <a href="http://praveenben.com/118/enterpreneurship/social-entrepreneurship"><strong>entrepreneurship</strong></a>. <strong>I also realized that women entrepreneurship and women empowerment would be the realities of tomorrow.</strong> This is a usual phenomenon in the life of any <strong>woman</strong>.</p>
<p>Every woman undergoes a risk of life to bring life into this world. Women do not deny motherhood on the plea of risk is involved. Their maternal instincts overcome the thoughts of risk to life. <strong>Women have the innate ability to face the risk of life with firm courage.</strong> This is an essential quality for <a href="http://praveenben.com/118/enterpreneurship/social-entrepreneurship"><strong>Entrepreneurship</strong></a>. <strong>Women entrepreneurship</strong> is therefore, a natural process for women. Encouragement of <strong>women entrepreneurs</strong> are the only solution for <strong>women empowerment</strong>.</p>
<h2 style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #214c71;">Entrepreneurship is like giving birth to a child</span></h2>
<p><strong>Entrepreneurship</strong> is like giving birth to a child. The <strong>Women’s</strong> Love of child overcomes the risk of life. The <strong>entrepreneur</strong> overcomes the risk of loss with the passion of <strong>entrepreneurship</strong>. Bringing life by the women is experiencing the inborn creative capacity. When you are creating an enterprise you are experiencing your <a href="http://praveenben.com/2186/personal-development-articles/creativity-and-innovation"><strong>creative capacity</strong></a>.</p>
<h2 style="text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #214c71;">Women entrepreneurship can only bring about women empowerment</span></h2>
<p style="text-align: left;">When <strong>women bring life</strong> into this world, it contributes to the society. When an <strong>entrepreneur creates</strong> an enterprise it generates employment, <a href="http://praveenben.com/category/health-and-wellness"><strong>create wealth</strong></a>. <strong>Entrepreneurship</strong> is a prerequisite for the development of any nation. Hence the contributions of women entrepreneurs are a prerequisite for nation building. <strong>Women entrepreneurship, women empowerment and nation building are therefore, synonymous. </strong></p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Women are naturally endowed with the emotions of love. This positive energy could be used managing human resources efficiently. All the women have all the resources to manage an enterprise. <strong>Women entrepreneurship</strong> can only bring about <strong>women empowerment.</strong></p>
