Social entrepreneurship is a display of courage and compassion. It is the manifestation of creative capacity within you combined with human values of love and empathy. It is a business venture with the human face. What makes the human being a human is empathy towards fellow people. Social entrepreneur is instrumental in bringing social change. He is an epitome of love and compassion.

Social entrepreneur Muhammad Yunus, founder of Grameen Bank unified the business principles with social venture and revolutionized the life of rural women in Bangladesh. Social entrepreneur Vikram Akula founder CEO of SKS Micro finance, started a micro lending venture in villages of Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Though this venture is for profit, it has initiated a sharp social change among poor women in villages.

“Aham Brahmasmi (I am God) and Ayam Atma Brahma” (This soul is God)are two great Vedic sayings on which  the Hindu religious belief is existing.The essence of the great Vedic sayings is that the individual self and the supreme self are one reality. Christians believe that we are children of God, born to manifest the glory of God within us. This glory of God, the creative capacity within us, must be experienced. Awareness and experience of this truth are the goal of any religion. Social entrepreneurship realizes this creative capacity.

The phrases “This soul is God” “we are children of God” implies that children are products of parents. We carry the same chemistry and molecules of the source. As we are children of God, we do have the same creative capacity. If father can do, a son can also do it as he is also endowed with the same creative capacity. Social entrepreneurship is therefore, manifest the godly state in us.

Awareness of having the creative capacity does not serve any purpose, unless the person actualizes the capacity by himself. Until you experience, it is a mere knowledge. Religious priests go on analyzing interpreting religious texts. By interpreting the belief, we don’t experience anything. Any belief, which is not in our experience can’t become the truth. Belief must be translated into action. Then only it becomes the truth. Truth alone is obeyed or accepted by the human beings. Social entrepreneurship is then an inevitable activity to bring social change. It transforms our belief into a truth.

Belief in the God and belief in you is not different. Entrepreneurship is a belief in action. It is the belief in you and realization your dreams. Your passion triggers ideas into action. Your determination overcomes the setbacks. Your zeal and enthusiasm continue the momentum until ideas are transformed into reality.

Entrepreneurship is the demonstration of creative capacity within you. Social entrepreneur is a person with belief and compassion.Love of people, motivates and prompts him to venture into difficult activities. He recognizes social problems and uses entrepreneurial principles to organize, create and manage a venture. His actions validate religious texts. He embodies love and affection of God. He is a true son of God. He is a living temple or church.

Social entrepreneurship and Women entrepreneurship can only remove inequalities in wealth creation.
